I guess I’m pretty unique in my belief that Heathenry can be a women’s spirituality movement; but because of it this old feminist propaganda has always hit home for me. I know that the pantheon of Aesir is technically a patriarchy, but in the society of the Elder Heathen women enjoyed greater egalitarianism than most of their contemporaries. As a reconstructionist movement, we have to respect that. The simple truth- Asatru women kick some serious butt and aren’t going to take flack from anyone, male or otherwise. Self-reliance is one of our 9 Noble Virtues, I reckon it goes hand-in-hand with feminism.

Hope you enjoy my little edit guys. :)

This literally looks like the best thing ever.

Stillness in Motion is a sculpture by  Olga Ziemska. The piece is made entirely from cut willow branches that have been cut and stacked to create a human figure.

Ah, they look like such a girl gang. Totally and unashamedly “haters gon’ hate.”
