Oh my God. For some reason… I don’t know why… I just imagined the Tenth Doctor seeing this… these little glimpses of his future as another man with the woman he saw die, and he’d feel all sorts of things… relief, that she indeed had a happy life; guilt over letting her die; and awe at what a creature she was when she was alive… when she is alive… but mostly just jealousy, because he never got to really meet her, but he had to watch her die, and soon there would be another in his place, with his memories, and that would be the man who would get to know her… and he wouldn’t.
